Dr. Rhemuel Valcarcel, DVM, has been with Banfield since 2005 and currently serves as a Chief of Staff, bringing extensive veterinary expertise and leadership to the organization. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine, in 2005. Throughout his career, Dr. Valcarcel has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advancing veterinary medicine by promoting the health and well-being of companion animals. He is dedicated to strengthening the pet-owner relationship through comprehensive client education and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers veterinary teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. Dr. Valcarcel’s professional interests include mentoring veterinary professionals, enhancing client engagement in pet wellness, and working closely with hospital associates to drive clinical excellence. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he maintains an active lifestyle through cycling and snowboarding and is a devoted caregiver to two dogs and two cats.
